NEGROS PRESS CLUB Medical Mission 2018


NEGROS PRESS CLUB officers led by president Renato “Boy” Duran, with Task Force Kasanag & its National Commander John Chiong, and dyEZ Aksyon Radyo Bacolod manager Nona Magbanua, during Saturday’s “Medical Mission 2018” at Sto. Niño Parish in Barangay Pahanocoy, Bacolod City. The joint initiative, also in partnership with the Barangay Pahanocoy Council, benefited 444 residents of vaccination, medical and dental services. At least 90 donors also participated in the blood-letting activity.*

Press club election set

The Negros Press Club (NPC), the oldest press club in the Philippines, will hold its annual general assembly and election of new set of officers at around 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 20.

The activity to be held at NPC Building in Bacolod City will be attended by about 150 member-media practitioners in Negros Occidental.

NPC president Renato Duran is set to deliver the club’s accomplishments during his term. These include initiating seminars, sports events, partnerships, and outreach activities, among others geared toward advancing the capabilities of the members and benefitting the community as well.

NPC Sweeps KBP in Media Bowling Games

Three teams of Negros Press Club (NPC) won over Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP)-Negros Occidental Chapter lineups on Saturday in the just-concluded 2017 Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) NPC-KBP Medial Bowling Fellowship Games at Negros Super Lanes in Bacolod City.

After a split result on the 1st leg, Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas Negros Occidental Chapter dominated the 2-division basketball event and captured the Men’s volleyball title during the 2017 KBP-NPC Fellowship Games 2nd Leg at the Bacolod Arts and Youth Sports Center on Saturday.
