The environmental advocacy of the company gathered employees and other groups to plant trees. Trees are known to produce food, shelter and other needs in the future, the need to restore and even prepare for the future generations to adopt as well.

Dubbed as “Buhayin ang Kalikasan,” employees around the country have been dedicating the month of August in planting trees as the said project consistently continues to grow, reaching more areas.

ENRO Office Max Sillo commended SMB for the effort as it yearly produces more trees from the said program. Negros Press Club President Renato”Boy” Duran says that he, together with the officers of the NPC, made sure they won’t miss the activity and respond to the need to contribute to mother nature.

Close to 300 volunteer-employees and groups planted tree seedlings as the company means well for nature and has called upon a monitoring system that will ensure that these will grow into trees.*
